McKay Marshall is a New York City-based performer from St. Louis, Missouri. She is a recent Syracuse University graduate, where she received her BFA in Musical Theatre.
McKay's passion for theatre began at the ripe age of 6, when she played Cow #2 in a Christmas play, in a church basement. Then, for her 8th birthday, her grandfather took her to see South Pacific on Broadway. Of course, as a newly-turned- eight-year-old, McKay had no idea what the show was about. She just knew she had to do what those people on stage were doing. She needed to be a performer. Quickly after that, she realized her love of the craft, and took as many singing and dance classes as possible. Additionally, McKay was very fortunate to spend over 10 years of her childhood learning and growing on stage at The Muny.
In addition to performing, she has a love of running, skiing, pickleball, taking long walks (give her a good audiobook and that girl can walk for HOURS), Taylor Swift, and iced black coffee.
